Bella dropped a marker in her lap and got a permanent mark on the front pocket of her skirt. Fortunate indeed that I keep an emergency supply of yo-yos on hand. We picked out three, appliqued them on, then found three buttons for their middles. Now this skirt can keep on trucking!
Great rescue, and cute, too!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea!!!! Marie x
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that!
ReplyDeleteProbably everyone in the world knows how to make these , except ME. Do you think maybe someday you could do a tutorial on these?
Thank you so much,

GREAT idea! We just had a permanent marker blot on a pink top recently. I managed to lighten it, but obviously can't rid of it. I might try this. I don't know how to make yo-yos either, though. . .
ReplyDeleteSending many Thanksgiving Blessings to you and your family.

Why didn't I think of this before tossing all the ruined clothes my little crafty girl has ruined in the past few years?
ReplyDeleteI made a giant yoyo quilt as an engagement project. They are so cute and so easy to do.
Thanks for the tip!

And adorable way to cover up a mark! I'd also love to see a tutorial on this!
ReplyDeletecan you tell me how you made those please?
ReplyDeleteYou can purchase yo yo makers (clover is the brand, their items are sold at fabric and craft stores) they make yo-yo making super easy and fun. They also make a heart-shaped template. Happy Christmas crafting one and all! Marie
