Here's Daisy with an extensive set-up fanning out from the piano.
At its heart, the Composer's giant German-English dictionary. Don't ask me why.
Perhaps you should ask Daisy why.
Why is she teaching German to the sock monkeys: when she doesn't even speak it herself?
A good question.
She'll never tell.

ReplyDeleteLOL! G'day Giles, good to have you back on the blog.
ReplyDelete*bravo!*
ReplyDeleteThank you for this. It made me smile - and I look eagerly towards when my son will start playing that way!

ReplyDeleteTo be a child at your would be such a joy.
blessings
should be your home...
ReplyDeleteOh my, it reminds me of my own childhood, when I was teaching all kinds of things to my plushies and to animals drawn on the paper tubes that come in the core of toilet paper... because I didn't have enough plushies to make for a whole class.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this. It's the perfect thing to see in this cloudy, grey day, before I go to church...
So fresh, so sweet... great photography too
ReplyDeleteOh, but her facial expression is wonderful while "speaking" her newly found language. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! :)
ReplyDeleteWhy, she's teaching it to them because they're so willing to learn it, of course.........do you see how attentive they are?
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Daisy reminds me in so many ways of my own little sisters. It brought a smile to my face to see her innocent and imaginative playing.
ReplyDeleteBrava!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great post with excellent pictures!
Daisy is a treasure!
What a beautiful and unusual piano. Tell us about it, if you're so inclined!
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable set of photos. Children are so apt to find opportunities.
ReplyDeleteGosh, she looks so grown up all of a sudden!
ReplyDeleteYour writings are inspiring to me and I thank you so much.

Ahhh Daisy and I are kindred spirits. I taught all my dolls and teddies all sorts of things. I now wonder why my parents never encouraged me into teaching. And perhaps that is now why I'm studying to be a Teacher Assistant.
ReplyDeleteOh for the blissful days of teaching teddies. They never argue back and they're such good learners!
Lovely to have Giles' photos back :)
Absolutely precious!
ReplyDeleteIn Christ,
Dawn
How cute is that? :) Thanks for bringing a smile to my face Anna :)
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day!
