Daisy's Spring Wardrobe: Dotted Swiss

Here you see Daisy having styled herself for a visit from her best friend, Hope. Many accessories are in place.

A case of less not being more.

Pale green dotted swiss made up into this dress.

  1. The hat makes this a very stylish piece! And the flower on the hat, of course.

  9. She's ready for the Derby!

Are her glasses for reading only? I noticed she's not wearing them in her wardrobing photo shoot pictures.

    She looks so grown-up!

  10. Polly, her glasses are supposed to be for general wear but she has a hard time with the fact that they make things look smaller, and she usually wears them only for viewing Cranford (her current DVD obsession) or if we happen to go to the opera. I think she will continue to get more near-sighted and eventually cotton on to the fact that clear is much better than blurry, but it's her choice.

  11. I totally identify. At 33 years old I have the exact same issues with my glasses. If it weren't for contacts (somehow the fact that I can't push them up on my head matters) I'd never see more than 5 feet in front of my face. I got glasses at 12ish but never gave in to regular wear until after law school destroyed what little distance vision I had left!
