Daisy Embroiders for Giles

Daisy made this embroidered tea towel for Giles' new apartment. We used a transfer and a purchased tea towel (I was more impressed by the fact that she found the towel in my stash than by her stitching--no reflection on her stitching!).

If you need anything monogrammed, she will be happy to sew your initial on it.

  4. Wonderful! I was about her age when I first embroidered a pillowcase. I hope it is the beginning of lots of lovely projects!

  6. That is a beautiful job, Daisy!
That pretty shade of lemon looks delightful on the white towel. I am sure Giles will think of you every single time he uses it. You are a sweet sister.

  7. I have such fond memories of sitting on our porch when I was a girl, embroidering little napkins, pillow cases, Barbie pillows & other things for my dollies. My first work was rather clumsy, but it sparked a lifelong interest in the needlearts.

Well done, Daisy. :o) I know your brother will be so pleased to use that tea towel!
