Suddenly, She's So Big

Could be the teeth or the glasses or the braids or the endless legs. Whatever it is, she's suddenly left babyhood far, far behind.

  1. O my - she's just grown up right under our noses! I love how her glasses make her look so terribly knowledgeable.

  4. I love how we've seen her grow up. I've been reading here since 2006, and it's so cool to see that. Beautiful not-so-little girl!

  6. My daughter is the same age, and I've been noticing the same thing -- long legs and arms, less rounded features -- hard to fit her on my lap!

  7. She is such a darling! Surely she will be a lovely woman one day.

It's amazing, isn't it? It doesn't matter how many children you have, when the youngest sheds their baby cheeks and teeth it really makes a Mother sit up and notice.

  11. Our 5th child Lydia is the same age as Daisy. I don't know what happened either! My husband picked her up to carry her to bed the other night and I exclaimed she is all legs...LOL!

  13. So sweet!! I was wondering when she would hit a growth spurt. With Clara for an older sister she couldn't help being on the tall end of things. What is she up to in height now?
