Suddenly I am obsessed with crocheting!
Yes, I've got the tasteful granny squares going, but I've started another project too. Everything saturated, dark, or bright from the yarn stash--all being made into ripples. No tastefulness here!

GORGEOUS. Does your hand cramp?
Oh! That afghan just made me catch my breath because my grandmother only crocheted rippled afghans, and she made one every time her yarn stash started overflowing. They all looked pretty much just like that one!
Anna! I was just sitting here crocheting, after discovering a link on my desktop for a bag I just couldn't resist making! (Except I'm not the best at understanding crochet directions.)

Lisateresa I made three ripple afghans years ago, when the price of wool was much less than it is now!
Oh! But I think it is delightfully tasteful! Very eyecatching, to say the least! ;~P
Beautiful! Very Missoni-looking, which is very trendy right now! I need to learn how to crochet!
Lovely! Thanks for the bit of Byron this morning.
Love the colors!what a neat way to use up yarn!i always seem to have extras...lol love the ripple stitch! Christina
Beautiful! If it lands in the shop, it's mine. :)

". . .meets in her aspect and her eyes. . ."
lovely. and so perfect for the rich autumn approaching.
On the contrary - I'm yet to see anything you've created that hasn't been tasteful.
How beautiful!! How do you make the ripple (or what pattern do you use?) :)
I used a tutorial from attic24.typepad.com. Lucy is an avid crocheter, young mother, and all-around charmer. I'd never done a ripple before, and the first at least six rows are all wrong, but who cares?
