Hi... got any suggestions for learning to make buttonholes? I'm making a pinafore for my babe and it's done but for the buttonholes. I tried learning them a couple times but couldn't figure it out and I'm dreading it. I wish I'd just used velcro and decorative buttons.
I've been checking in to your blog every so often and I've been enjoying your sewing projects tremendously. I sew as well but my projects are never quite as interesting as yours. Can't wait for another one of your wacky dresses! I love them :)
What a sweet light-weight gown. I have a few yards of that smae fabric that I picked up a few years ago...(waiting for a project). And my girls could use summer sleepwear, so there you go. :)

Thanks for the inspiration! I too have a thrifted pattern & some sale fabric waiting to become a night gown for my daughter. Daisy looks precious.
Your daughter Daisy has the most beautiful big eyes. Children are so special. God Bless your lovely family.
Sweet! And I love that you made it for under a dollar!
