Little Boy Sweater
Sally, don't look.
I finished a knitting project this week for my cousin's baby boy. He'll be about four months at Christmas, and I knitted this in a six month size. He will definitely have room in it!
This was my first project with two colors of yarn. It was a pleasure to learn, and now I want to start a Fair Isle project with thirty colors!
From Debbie Bliss' Simply Baby, the "Striped Sweater" model.

Absolutely beautiful - you did a great job.
How delicious. I love it...my blue-eyed baby needs one of these! Perhaps it is time to graduate from scarves to sweaters.
That is GORGEOUS! Will you come to my house and show me how? ;)
Anna, I peeked! It is darling and I can't wait for him to wear it. I love the color combination. Thank you! Sally
Isnt' that sweater too cute, I made one for my daughter in lilac and mint. You did great! I love Fair Isle too--I think you will get bit by the bug to do alot of it once you start..addiction:-)
Ah...if only I could knit.
How adorable! You did a great job!
It is lovely!
Adorable! Now that the weather's cooler, I've been enjoying dressing my boys in sweaters again...but of course, nothing beats a hand-knit baby sweater. Your cousin's baby is a very fortunate little guy! :)
That is so lovely. You have a great hand for knitting!
Very pretty! Did you carry the colors up the side?
Beautiful. I just started the hooded cardigan for my 9 month old daugher. Love those baby knits!
Anna...I just wanted to stop a moment and say how much I enjoy your blog. It is a visual feast, or if not a feast then certainly a very delightful mid-afternoon tea!
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your creativity...
That turned out very nicely ;o)
Oh my goodness, this is lovely. Is there ANYTHING that you don't do well? :)
I have been enjoying your ideas. I get quite a lot of creative ambition when I come to your blog! I have most recently made pillowcases with rick rack in holiday colors with muslin.
