"I Tell You a Mystery"

Behold, I tell you a mystery;
we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed . . .

For this perishable will must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.

But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, 'Death is swallowed up in victory.'

'O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?'

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law;
but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

I Cor. 15: 51, 52-58

Lovely pictures, and lovely Scriptures to go with them. All your children are lovely, and Daisy is just adorable! I pray you had a blessed Easter!

Hi I found your blog a couple of weeks ago and have to say I love it. Your children are all beautiful and I love your vintage dresses. The first thing I'm going to make when I get a sewing machine is a smock for my little daughter, I went back through some of your archives and loved the one you made for Daisy.

Keep up the good work! I've added your link to my blog.

I don't remember how I stumbled upon your blog but I've visited quite a few times now and think it is just lovely! I love all the scriptures! Also, I think your seamstress work is incredible! I have been looking online for where to buy (or someday how to make ~ I'm a real rookie in the sewing department) Regency type dresses. I think they are so beautiful, modest, and simple. Have you ever considered selling any dresses for other folks? I really admire your talent in that area!

Thanks for all the inspiration you provide here through Him!!

Blessings,
Katie

Anna,
Thank you for the photo of all the children.
I love how you 'matched' the girls dresses together. The color is perfect for each individual girl.
Thank you for the Scripture, too.
What a lovely tribute. Bless you.

Thank you for the verse "Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. For as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." You've lifted my spirits tonight. :)
