A Candy Day
Clara had cash from a recent cello gig burning a hole in her crocheted purse, so it was off to the candy store to treat her brothers and sisters.
Fudge for the biggest people . . .
And little candy buttons for the smallest person . . .
who had a hard time deciding what to choose first
and what to eat last.

Lovely, sweet Daisy! Always looks like a little cherub, the apple of her parents' eyes she is.
Such a sweet post, Anna. Thank you!
Clara is a generous girl to spend her cello money on treats for her siblings! That is lovely.
And the Sweet Biscuit Inn--I know where we'll try to stay next time we run away to Asheville for a long weekend, particularly now that we have a little one in tow....
Beautiful photos. I can almost feel the crunch of the candy dots between my teeth.
Clara is richer for having shared and what a wonderful treat she provided for her siblings.
It is those sweet, simple things, that are still the joy of childhood!
Sweet of Clara to treat everyone!
Did Clara choose those candy dots to go with Daisy's dress? Very cute!
Daisy has gotten so tan this summer. Such a cutie.
O Fudge!!! I simply MUST make some as soon as I can. What a lovely thing for Clara to do. I can think of few things more delightful than browsing and buying in a candy shop! :)
How very sweet (no pun intended) of Clara to share with her brothers and sisters.
I remember those button candies. The trick is not to get bits of paper in your mouth!
What a loving sis! So kind. Love the candy buttons shots.
