A Fine Lunch for Cold Weather

Chicken-noodle soup with an addition that takes it up a notch--a roughly chopped bunch of Swiss chard stirred in at the end.

I know it's off topic, but would you be willing to do a post about how you set such a beautiful table? I admire them every time you post a picture, and Christmas is coming...

That soup looks good enough to eat right off the screen. Very yum....and it's pouring with rain here right now. It would be perfect.

It looks more like stew.

Looks delicious!

I cut dried seaweed into ribbons and added it to cabbage soup this week for a similar dark veg, and it was beautiful and good.

I love to add Swiss Chard to soups. This one looks hardy and delicious. Love soups for those cold evenings. Often times I like to add boullion for just a bit more flavor when I do not have enough 'bones' in my soup! Will you please post your soup recipe!? : ))

I love soups with lots of veggies and greens. You just feel so healthy eating them.

Oh my! That DOES sound good!! We all love greens as long as they aren't swimming in pork fat!
