She is so sweet, someday we will have a cat. Right now the apartment landlord says no... We may be off again in the next year, maybe we will purchase a home again... Have a wonderful day. Paula
That made me squeel with delight. Extraodrinarily long tail somehow reminds me of our first cat, Mia, even though I can't remember anymore whether she really did have a long tail or just... whatever. Lucy Gray is cute!
Named for the poem, or just because she's gray? My kitten is called Mabel - G&S all the way! Please try to fit Daisy and Lucy in one photo, if one frame can actually contain all of that cuteness.
Bella had a doll named Lucy Gray when she was little, and she pulled the name out of thin air, not having read Wordsworth yet at that time. Lucy Gray was famous for her bad driving--she frequently climbed onto the steering wheel when we were on road trips. Exciting times!
I am an evangelical Christian. I have two daughters whom I homeschool: Bella (15), and Daisy (8), and three older children: Giles (21), a college graduate, Felix (19), a college junior, and Clara (17), a college freshman. I'm 42 years old and happily married to my Dear Composer. We live in a 1920's school converted into a home, outside of town. And God is good.
Feel free to Pin my photos, but please link back to the page you found them on.
Photography
Photography is an important part of life at my house. Photos that appear here are taken by Giles, by the Composer, and by me. Giles is a real, paid photographer, and he uses a Sony Alpha. Most of the photography prior to September 2008 is his. Since then I have done most of the shooting and I use a Konica Minolta. Additionally, the Composer offers me nice shots on occasion, often from his little Canon point and shoot. I've given up trying to note who's done what. Thanks for your interest!

she's a sweetie! Wishing her and Daisy many hours of joy in each others' company!
She looks like a storybook kitty! Our pets have double bunger names too -- Charlie Brown and Big Bill. :)

Grey is a popular colour in your houses, isn't it! Cute cat.
Ok, now I want a cat. Let's chalk it up to preggy hormones and wanting to cuddle something new. :b

Oh, I just love gray kitties. We have 3 none of them gray though. And sad to say, none of them love the camera.

Is she named for Wordsworth's "Lucy Gray"?
I think you should all be on your best behavior. That's one no-nonsense face. :-)
I just love her name!
