Round Loaf of Rye Bread

When you have a pan of sausages, you need a loaf of rye bread to go with it. I've been making all our dinner bread from the ubiquitous Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. There's a reason it's everywhere.

Absolutely! The breads in that book are fool-proof and delicious. You can't ask for more!

I love that book. I just made their buttermilk sandwich bread last week and it we ate three loaves in two days! Your loaf is beautiful.

I absolutely adore that book!! It's been my go to bread book for some time now. I haven't tried the rye though, hmmm.... :)
Have a blessed day!

We have that at the library, and I've been eyeing it. We're rye bread people in this house.

Which recipe exactly did you use? I have been looking for a good, easy rye (since our family is Scandinavian, we especially love it at this time of year!)

ok ok, I need to get my hands on that book.
We've been using the ubiquitous NYTimes no-knead as dinner bread.

Your loaf is so lovely. I also want some rye bread to make Reubens with the homemade sauerkraut my best friend gave me.
