Felix brought home his drawing portfolio from the year. His bird drawings are so beautiful and detailed!
I'm going to frame this study of a Pale-Headed Rosella. He used ink and watercolor washes to get those jewel colors.

What a gorgeous drawing. You should send Felix on a trip to Australia. We have lots of gorgeous (and noisy!) birds like that. Although pale-headed Rosellas are from Queensland, here in South Australia (for example), we have hundreds of parrots, lorikeets, and rosellas flying around everywhere.

It was a very amazing work of art. It was probably the most stunning of the ones on display in the library.
Instead of Australia, you should send him to Costa Rica. I hear that they have all sorts of good birds. :)
