A Halter-Style Apron for Bella

Bella, still sleep-deprived from a wild week of vocal camp, models her new apron from the"Marilyn" pattern by Threaded Pear Studios. I was not thrilled with this pattern. It had a premium price ($10) but consisted only of written instructions, not even sufficient diagrams, explaining the size and shapes of pieces I was to cut out. Sorry, that's too much thinking. And I don't believe there was fair warning on the package.

Bella likes it anyway (choosing to ignore the mistaken pocket placement) and it does look cute on her. And little red cherries are always good.

Cool! I have an apron just like that, but a different pattern! It looks very nice on her.

Yes, little red cherries are always good! Bella is so pretty. She has the most beautiful eyebrows! My mom bought me this halter apron pattern http://www.fabric.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=ACF78780-A4E0-4437-8ED5-493BE9FE14DE and I made it for my sister. She likes it a lot.

So feminine! Bad instructions are so frustrating!

It's a CUTE apron, Anna! I'm sorry you had trouble with the pattern, though--no fun!

I made a similar apron for my daughter from this pattern last year: http://www.heatherbaileystore.com/product-p/sp002-ds.htm

It's another premium priced apron, but has very detailed instructions and went together very well!

I need diagrams when I'm sewing (or a personal sewing tutor!). And really, aprons should be so simple - no set in sleeves, no zippers, no lining!

I LOVE those red cherries on soft blue. Charming.

Its so annoying when a pattern is disappointing, but you have still made a lovely job of it. Gorgeous fabric as well!
