Two Happy Weeks of Rippling

Two happy weeks of rippling have come to an end, as I have run out of yarn. I do still have some scraps and those will become throw pillows.

It's nice! I think the black here and there helps bring out everything else. And, looks like you made an edging! I haven't seen that before in a ripple. Good job!

Very nice!
I read your blog nearly every day and I love following the events of your lovely household. I also often use your pictures as the wallpaper on my smart phone, because they are beautiful. Praying for a fun, non-stressful time as you get closer to the wedding at your place and all of the preparations involved.

Thanks for being an inspiration!
I procrastinate and need that!

It's beautiful and so mod!!! Funny, I think I have a similar afghan from my grandmother tucked away some where. Maybe I should get that out and display it in the living room. It would be fun to see the kiddos cuddled under it like my sister and I used to do.

That reminds me rather strongly of the Missoni stuff from Target people are going crazy about these days. (I hope you take that as the compliment it is meant as.) Except yours prettier, and, I think, has much much higher craftsmanship (as most of your handmade things are).
(Er, hello! I found your blog a long time ago after google searching milk glass vases and found your picture of a row of them on your table. I've just been quietly reading until now.)

That's just so pretty, Anna. Your afghan is one more in a series of chevron themes I've been seeing on a few blogs lately - isn't that funny how that happens? The ripples look so smart on the bed - I know you had a lot of fun working on it. Hope to see the pillows some day!

Beautiful! You are an impressively quick crochet-er.

I love it!
in my area, we have a creative reuse shop where the odds and ends of yarn are just enormous. I've always wondered what someone would do with them - I know fabric scraps better. This is a great idea.

I don't know if it strikes anyone else this way, but the ripples remind me of Missoni....I think your work would make them envious! :o) Your work is lovely, Anna, & looks pretty on the bed.

Oh my. I am so greedy to do this also! I saw something like this in The Gentle Art of Domesticity and have ALWAYS wanted to do it!
