A Wrap Smock for Bella

This sweet and simple piece works as either a utilitarian apron or a fashion layer. Bella, that queen of layering, chose to make it a part of her outfit.

A simple tiny floral and some contrast binding work with the very shapely cut quite nicely!

I mocked it up from my Verity Hope dress from years past. Making it in my own size gave Bella the extra ease to wear it over other clothes.

That is the perfect apron that I have been looking for.Using it as an additional layer is oh so smart. Nice work ladies

Sooo very pretty but ooohhh all that bias to sew on. I never get it sewn on well no matter how hard I try....

Remember this:

Last week we piled in the car for a string of errands. "Mommy! You're still wearing your apron!" exclaimed Bella. I told her I thought it looked good with my outfit and I had left it on on purpose. There was a pause. "Clara, do something!" she cried.

Bella's come a long way. :-D
