Daisy's been lost in her tiny world for several days, set up in the mouse house (still not finished, but good for play), with her back to the ficus tree.
Ah Sylvanians - my daughter still collects them at 13 years of age! I think they market more to the mothers than the children with all the lovely vintage detail they include. I wouldn't mind living in a Sylvanian family's house.
There actually is a house called "Mouse House." It was built in the 18th century and is only 3 rooms on 3 floors. I read about it in a magazine, I think it was Cottage Living.
It is funny that your child is playing with Sylvanian Families in your blog post, I just started collecting them last week and I am in my 50's! I wanted to collect them to recreate the Holly Pond Hill scenes and pictures. After all these years of being practical and thrifty I decided to splurge! I can't wait to go to London one day and go shopping in their store.
I lurk about your blog never commenting. But when I saw how sweet this was I just had to comment! Have y'all ever read Brambly Hedge? It has a sweet little mouse world that I still get lost in.

I hope she becomes a writer to put use of her imagination.
Daisy's Tiny World reminds me of some books I loved as a kid which she too might enjoy: The Borrowers by Mary Norton.

My daughter has just recently developed a passion for these and is also collecting them.

Blessings!
It's nice to see Daisy all caught up in her play. She might like this mice house too: http://hetmuizenhuis.nl/en/information/about-the-mouse-mansion/
