Hello Anna! I have followed your blog silently for years. I admire very much all the wonderful things you do, the cooking, quilting, sewing, embroidering,gardening, little parties you give, the afternoon teas, the baking and so on..... Most of all I admire your family very much and the fine and talented children that you raised. As I look at your latest picture of morning light, I am filled with nostalgia for all the days you spent together as a family. time goes so fast and where once you had a houseful of children, now there is just one left with you. It makes me feel so sad.
So gorgeous! Thank you for sharing, it sure lifted my heart.

Anonymous, it's true that things are different now, but this time is full of beautiful gifts! Visits from my children (both boys were here this weekend), precious times with Daisy, time to write, room for a Saudi Arabian student to join our household . . . .
To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.
