A Baby Day
Today we picked up a friend's little foster baby--only three months old!--and we'll keep him til Thursday. Daisy is reveling in all the baby care, and changes diapers and does bottles all by herself. And has laid out all his outfits to make her choices easier.
In the spirit of enjoying babies, I'm posting this just-unearthed image of Daisy as a baby herself. Dad gum, she was cute!

Just as well you clarified that point about the photo being that of Daisy. I was rather perturbed by her choice of outfits for a boy child when I read the first paragraph about the foster child being a 'he'!
Daisy was as beautiful then as now. I bet she's reveling In having a babe to care for and play with. I still remember the joy I felt when caring for my siblings. As the oldest of five, with four younger cousins right next door, I have lots of joyful memories caring for babes and pretending to be Mom!

I ready the opening sentence, looked at the photo and thought "That bub looks so much like Daisy!", then I thought "that's a very big baby for three months old".
