For the longest time she was my youngest baby. Also, for the longest time she's seemed so grown up. Happy Birthday, dear daughter!

Bella continues to work at a physical therapy clinic and will start her sophomore year of college in August majoring in rehabilitation science, preparing to be an occupational therapist. She just bought a car, and like all teenagers, made sure to choose one that fits at least two car seats in the back so that she can do respite care for children in foster care.

Anna, please tell Bella how important her future occupation is, from the point of view of a family member of the patient. My dad needed PT and OT and the visits from these wonderful therapists made both of us feel so much more optimistic, focusing finally on what he could do, not what he had lost. She will bring joy along with her skills.
