Daisy and the Lorakeets
Daisy and her father went to the zoo today. First they saw the giant anteater (remarkable for the way its tail resembles Sister's tail).
Then they went to see the lorakeets.
The lorakeets aren't afraid of people.
They finished off with flamingos.

What fun! Anna Daisy may like to know that lorikeets fly in for breakfast to us and to my near neighbour. They become quite tame (and bossy!) very quickly and, as Daisy found, are very pretty. They tap tap tap on my neighbour's kitchen window each morning.

I always know its going to rain when I hear the lorikeets calling to each other. (but I couldn't cope having them climbing on me!)
