I played piano from the age of 5, but didn't get to learn the organ until I got to college. Although I haven't played in years, the thrill of pounding out Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor at full volume still sticks with me. :)
May Daisy be blessed with many happy moments at the organ!
Such a glorious sound. We have good friends whose oldest son is an organist. He started like Daisy and then took off like a rocket right into Indiana U's music program. No instrument seems quite so majestic to me as the pipe organ.
Some advice from my mom's organ teacher: "If you're going to make a mistake, make it a big one." Not that there's any other kind of mistake on such a grand instrument.
What a great thing for your daughter to be learning! I was an church organist for many years and it is certainly a dying art. This one of a kind talent was very instrumental in building confidence and enjoyment in my teenage years which carried over into my adult life. There is nothing better than playing on a majestic pipe organ. Good luck, Daisy!

A pipe organ? That's very cool.

What a gorgeous Church. So refreshing to see a church that looks like a church!
What a special treat to learn on such an instrument! She is certainly growing up!
