A Baby Quilt in Almost Black and White

If Emma and Eliot want it, this little quilt will be for the Stone House baby in November. It's very neutral, although the centers are actually dark charcoal gray and then very dark green.

Then there are some pale grays and some neutral linen.

The Stone House baby is going to have a sophisticated palette, everyone knows that!

Unique choice for baby colors! Though neutrals seem to be in vogue. :) It's pretty!

Love this sophisticated little quilt. Stone House Baby is getting a good start in life, I think. :)

Oh, I can't wait to see a baby in your posts. Your blog is a beautiful depiction on a family

Love it!

I like it very much. Is is more important for it to be "baby" looking, or blending in nicely with their home? And your quilting reputation must be taken into account - surely they'll take it!

Very pretty! I notice that you hand quilt. What kind of "thread" do you use?

Who are Emma and Elliot?

Emma and Eliot are the couple who live in the Stone House. They started out as friends of Felix's but now they belong to the whole family. We love them like our own.

I quilt with perle cotton.

I love this! It's a visual relief to quilt or knit for a baby with neutrals for a change.
