Blackberry Pie with Checker Top

That looks delicious! What recipe do you use for the crust? Also, do you just put blackberries in the filling, or do you add more to it?
Now I want to go make one myself, and eat it with a large dollup of whipped cream.

Next week I visit my family in sister said "I still have some frozen blueberries from picking last summer...I think I'll wait and make a blueberry crisp for when you come."

I am so looking forward to that right now!
