Canvas, I Love You

I love canvas! It's so cheap, so available, it works in place of linen for so little money.

I use it for drapes, slipcovers, bags, pillows, and clothes.

And quilts. And you can dye it and embroider on it. Yes.

I'm thinking of a canvas slipcover for my sofa for the summer. There is just something cool, crisp and comfy about canvas in the summertime!

Canvas slipcovers! How I've been wondering what to use to make slipcovers - just yesterday I was so happy to find a book which suggested twill or denim. Today I see that canvas is also good!
This is something I would never have thought of.

Before I forget:
I saw a book/magazine "Apron*ology"
at Jo-Ann craft store that I thought that you would like to keep your eye out for to look at- some of them are rather silly, but the photos are great!

So pretty. I have the tiniest strip of canvas. Wonder what I can do with it? hmmmm...
