(not literally, that's his camera)
But I do know this: he's got an internship in New York City this summer. Yeah, my little hayseed baby.
And God is so good, He's given Giles a family to stay with while he's working there. A wonderful, fun, happy family with a toddler girl. I'm so jealous. Of Giles, and of his hosts!
Maybe I'll cross paths with Giles! It's a smaller city than we think!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Giles!
ReplyDeleteOh, awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful opportunity for him! I hope we can see some of his photos of that wonderful city!
ReplyDeleteSuch good news, I am delighted for Giles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming photo of you both ... Best of luck to Giles.
ReplyDeleteNothing hayseed about an accomplished photographer! And may I say you look really good in that photo - elegant.
ReplyDeleteWell, you'll have to go to the Big Apple to visit him - what a trip that would be! My cousin is a photographer in NYC. http://www.robertessel.com/
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Giles! And congratulations as well to his host family - they will enjoy having him as much as he will enjoy the internship.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Giles...I have an older son in Virginia right now and I'm jealous of his hosts too! I'll see him in June and I'm so very ready! I hope your able to share some of his work with us here at Pleasant View, or will Giles take his site up again?
ReplyDeleteI live in the Hudson River Valley about 90 minutes north of the city if he wants to get out of there for a weekend! Tell him good luck. It's an amazing city and there is so much to see and do there. He's going to have a great time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Giles!! What a wonderful opportunity! May I ask what state you live in? I understand if you prefer not to say, just don't recall it from any of your posts.recera

ReplyDeleteI think this is fabulous that Giles will get to experience New York City at this age!!! Again I say it is so refreshing to see young people doing so well in this day!! Proud of you Giles!! Take in all the museums and plays that you can and photograph all those people from all corners of the Earth!! Go for it!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful opportunity for him Anna.
ReplyDeleteMy brother lives in Brooklyn and is a photographer.
Praying it will be a blessed summer.
There will be some great young people from the south in NYC this summer. My daughter will be studying ballet at American Ballet Theater there this summer. May they all shine!
