Cute! Off topic- have you had a chance to look at the new Colette book yet? I know you enjoy her patterns. I'm looking for a good beginner sewing book. Blessings.
This is a lovely dress and I would buy it, but it's too big. Can you provide some details on the making of this dress? I'd love to try and make one for myself.
Meagan, there are several big-4 patterns with designs similar to this. Cotton jersey is easy to work with, it doesn't wiggle and you don't have to finish the seams. Good luck!
This was my go-to church dress for several years. I greatly miss it, but I became too small for it, and chose to donate it, so that someone else could have the pleasure. I did keep the privacy panel (I would pin it in; I found the shear blue goes with nearly everything, and apparently the cuts which are most flattering to my form expect me to want to show ALL of my cleavage!).
I have no idea if you read comments on old posts, but thank you Anna, for one of my all time favorite dresses.
Feel free to Pin my photos, but please link back to the page you found them on.
Photography
Photography is an important part of life at my house. Photos that appear here are taken by Giles, by the Composer, and by me. Giles is a real, paid photographer, and he uses a Sony Alpha. Most of the photography prior to September 2008 is his. Since then I have done most of the shooting and I use a Konica Minolta. Additionally, the Composer offers me nice shots on occasion, often from his little Canon point and shoot. I've given up trying to note who's done what. Thanks for your interest!

FYI, the link is not working for me today. It brings me to my own listings.

It does look delicious! It's definitely on my wish list.
