Lunch for the Trio
Clara is having a two-day rehearsal (or retreat, or chamber music house party) with her violin-cello-piano trio. Lots and lots of Mozart and Schubert filling the house today. It's kind of unreal; the music is so beautiful and it's so right here.
Bella really, really loves to cater. She loves to have a cooking plan and people to prep for. Today's lunch was platter after platter of salade nicoise, and sourdough bread. Blanched and marinated garden green beans (things from my garden!!), neighbor's eggs hard-cooked, and lots of other goodies.
I made the cookies.
More music tomorrow.

Sounds like what Heaven will be like.
Sigh - Mozart and Schubert - bliss.
Lovely...
I like what you put your cookies in - and, it looked familiar to me; I have that in a smaller casserole dish!
The lunch sounds awfully good.

If you can, please try to record the trio and post it here. We would love to hear them play! Tell Bella that her salads look delicious!
Lovely..I can imagine music, foods and pretty ladies are full of the house... Becky(Beer)
My lunch trio today was grilled cheese, kiwi fruit and carrots for my three older kiddos who serenaded the household with make-believe playtime and the occasional arguement/crying.
Perhaps some day it'll evolve into what you've experienced today. :)
Your children all seem to have such distinct personalities. It seems to me that you have done a great job in allowing them to be who they are meant to be. Any words of practical advice for us average mothers?
