Is your milk glass collection made by Westmoreland Glass Company? I live in southwestern PA (Westmoreland County) which was home to multiple glass makers from the late 1870s to the late 1970s. Mount Pleasant has a Glass Festival each year inviting vendors and glass enthusiasts to come out to see what was made, who has it and sometimes to purchase. I collect Iris & Herringbone made by Jeannette Glass Company also made in Jeannette, PA.
Just lovely Anna - I've now got a milk glass obsession too - thanks to you!
ReplyDeleteMy mother also liked milk glass. I have a large hobnail "basket", a covered cookie jar, and some smaller things - I like them, too.
