Piecing the Inevitable

It had to happen sooner or later:
log cabin meets jersey hand-sewing.

Can't wait to see how it turns out! I've made tee shirt quilts, but always use some type of stabilizer behind the jersey so it won't get all stretched out. I'm sure if it's hand quilted, that should take care of the problem. I have a huge bag of jersey scraps from the tee shirt quilts I've made, so I'd love to see your finished project.

Yes! I cannot wait to see more photos of this! (And to hear about conquering the logistical challenges of working a stretch fabric into a flat, square piece.)

Too funny! It would make a great skirt.

Awesome! I make a lot of T-shirt yarn from all-cotton T-shirts -- and lately, I've been using some of the leftover scraps to make quilts. Cotton jersey makes some of the softest, coziest quilts!
