How lovely! My father and stepmother went to Scotland a couple of summer ago. He'd never been anywhere other than the US and Canada (well, and parts of the Caribbean) and was absolutely enamored by Scotland--I knew he would be! The beauty is transcendent. That light!

Photography
Photography is an important part of life at my house. Photos that appear here are taken by Giles, by the Composer, and by me. Giles is a real, paid photographer, and he uses a Sony Alpha. Most of the photography prior to September 2008 is his. Since then I have done most of the shooting and I use a Konica Minolta. Additionally, the Composer offers me nice shots on occasion, often from his little Canon point and shoot. I've given up trying to note who's done what. Thanks for your interest!

What a gorgeous shot, and what a fortunate lad!
I was on the bonnie, bonnie banks last year at this time! Gorgeous!

Ahhh, my dream trip! My husband and I planned to go to Scotland for our tenth anniversary, but circumstances prevented it. Someday, I am determined.
My two year old daughter is obsessed with that song and sings it to herself. "Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie...."
That is such a lovely view. I always imaging Scotland to be dreary.

Love the song, too.
This is like a picture from a storybook.
