My laundry room is a little half-floor mezzanine above the kitchen. When I'm working in it I can see over the little half-wall into the room. Today I was liking the greens.
I remember when you rescued that piece of stained glass! Now didn't a little friend of Daisy's make some funny comment?? I think you had it propped up against tins of paint whilst it was awaiting a permanent home. I can't recall exactly what she said but it was quite comical if I remember correctly. Anyway it looks beautiful :) Angela
Oh, just thought of a question on your house. Have you finished the "new" Library? I think you said it was upstairs. Of course, in between the wedding and the Stone house remodel!!
How unusual! There was a wonderful and elegant department store in the city when I was a child. There was a mezzanine floor which sold books, and I loved going up there.
Feel free to Pin my photos, but please link back to the page you found them on.
Photography
Photography is an important part of life at my house. Photos that appear here are taken by Giles, by the Composer, and by me. Giles is a real, paid photographer, and he uses a Sony Alpha. Most of the photography prior to September 2008 is his. Since then I have done most of the shooting and I use a Konica Minolta. Additionally, the Composer offers me nice shots on occasion, often from his little Canon point and shoot. I've given up trying to note who's done what. Thanks for your interest!

Lisateresa
that clock!! Looks like jadeite green, such a pretty color.
Any chance of a photo of the laundry room from the kitchen? I'm starting to have ideas about my kitchen ceiling...
Yes, please!
