He Always Smiles When He Is Buying a House

Let me bring you up to speed. Felix and Molly have finished their work in South America and have decided to settle RIGHT HERE!! Felix is back to work on his graduate degree, and Molly will be starting a master's degree in history this fall.

They just bought a house yesterday--a charming Arts and Crafts bungalow set on two acres, with three wells and an enormous ancient oak tree in the meadow.

In fact, this house will be known as The Meadows.

I look forward to showing you all around it, as soon as they get moved in.

What wonderful news!! The house purchase is exciting, of course--but what's better by far is that they will be living close to you! I'm still some years away from having children old enough to make such decisions, but already I can imagine how delightful it would be for grown and married children to choose to live near the home place. :)

This is so exciting...how wonderful for them, AND you!

You will have explain to explain to me what an 'Arts and Crafts' bungalow is...;)

I know you're thrilled that they'll be close to you! That's my dream for the future--I've already told my children that we can parcel off a bit of farm land for a house or two....:) Of course, I really just hope and pray they will go wherever God leads them.

It's wonderful that God has led Felix and Molly to the Meadows for this season!

How exciting! And how wonderful that they're settling nearby. Our two oldest are far, far away, and I have hope that maybe one of our younger children will someday decide to live close to us. What a blessing!

Isn't that wonderful and exciting! A craftsman style house, too - they are so appealing from the outside; I've never seen an interior.

How exciting, and I love the name! I am so glad people still name their estates. Ours is Taigh Beag (Tie Beck) which translates to Little House. Years after naming it, I learned Taigh Beag is also a term for an outhouse!! I decided to keep the name and enjoy telling the faux pas.

We do not have the funds to do as we wish to Taigh Beag right now, and it is rather overrun with children at the moment, but I have a vision!

One well that works, and two that don't?

How lovely to have them nearby. We are so grateful to be near one son and our grand daughter when they aren't travelling but equally happy for our son in New York which is where he needs to be for his PhD.
