Clara's Knitting: Daisy's Summer Cardigan
Though it's not quite warm enough for this week, Daisy has this new cardigan at the ready should the sun come out in a major way. Clara finished it over Thanksgiving break, then was cruelly thwarted in her quest to buy more yarn by the little yarn shop being closed for the holiday. We went to the thrift store instead and Clara got an awesome crewelwork project of a happy raccoon, to work on the train.
Anyway, this is knitted in a cotton yarn we bought in Germany, and the pattern is from Ravelry. I've got the paper printout here, and the keywords I'm seeing are "DROPS collection" and "wavy pattern," so good luck finding that!
It's so cute, and it takes me right back to my own personal and beloved baby blanket. That I loved til I was twelve.

I love it, too!
What a lovely colour! I knitted the same cardigan in black for myself, and founf the pattern on www.garnstudio.com. They have lots of lovely patterns, all for free, and their own range of yarns. I can really recommend them.
They just put up the new patterns for spring!

You've done a beautiful job Clara and the colour is divine. I'd love to negotiate the mathematical secret of successful lace when decreasing for the armholes!
Beautiful pattern, style and color.
I love checking in with you now and then and can't believe how your children have grown. I guess mine have grown just as quickly, but I'm shocked lately when I see how grown up Daisy is! So lovely!
so pretty! clever Clara!
I am always in awe of Clara's knitting skills. Just so beautiful! She should consider an Etsy shop.
I think this is the pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/127-40-jacket-with-wavy-pattern-and-round-yoke-in-muskat
It looks like Feather and Fan stitch to me. Clara is very talented!
Clara just loves that lace knitting - wonderful!
