Such a lovely set up with your simple, elegant looking stoves and the muted colors of your bowls. Beautiful photo. Isn't is wonderful to be baking for so many people?

So delighted to see you posting again. I logged on to "Neat and Dainty As A Flower" and was so sad to see it removed, but happy to see you here again. Peggy in Fredericksburg

I followed many moons ago, for many years. I was homeschooling and knee-deep in all things domestic and I found this space to be a great encouragement.

I often pop back in for a recipe or just to be encouraged in the beauty of all things domestic and beautiful. Schoolhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies are a staple around here! Welcome Back!

I read your blog through my college and postgrad years as a source of creative inspiration. Now as a mother of two (soon to be three!) little ones, I came back for some creative inspiration in this chaotic, tiring, joyful season. So delighted to have a few little updates! Thank you for sharing an encouraging peek into your world. I made one of your recipes in my second date with my now husband (He’d arranged a poetry-reading picnic in the park! Followed by a whole summer of weekly pies shared with friends. Engagement followed soon after!).

FWIW, I saw a few very vague photos on your blog years ago that tipped me off that we attended the same undergrad, so it felt particularly delightful to realize that you had been encouraging my creative endeavors throughout my own college years.

Thank you for your faithful, creative presence; it has been a ministry to me for 15+ years! I have often thought to send an email of gratitude, but I don’t see an address on your website anymore, so I’ll brave the world of comments.

I stumbled upon this because I've kept your blog tab marked all these years and for some reason thought, "I wonder if her old posts are still up?" I'm so happy to have you back again! although your format may be different regarding family, I'd love to have a few updates on the schoolhouse itself. It was such a great space! Welcome back!
